Welcome to Hoedown in the Barn 2026!

On behalf of all our participants, volunteers, and staff, I would like to welcome you to this year’s Hoedown in the Barn. Once again, we are delighted to host an unforgettable night of entertainment, food, and fun under the roof of our Olympic-sized riding arena.

Hoedown in the Barn is our biggest celebration of the year, and thanks to your support, Rainbow Riders has continued to grow in ways we could only dream of.

This past year, we’ve been able to open our gates wider than ever before—welcoming more children, youth, and adults living with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and mental health needs. To meet this incredible demand, we expanded our herd, completed a total replacement of our arena footing, and strengthened our programs so participants, volunteers, and horses alike have the safest and best possible environment to thrive.

Our volunteer team has also grown beyond measure, with over 200 caring and committed individuals lending their hands and hearts to make every lesson and barn chore possible. It’s proof that when a community rallies together, magic truly happens. And that magic is seen every day in the smiles, milestones, and stories of our riders and their families.

Tonight, we get to celebrate that impact together—with laughter from the incomparable Sheila Williams, a mouthwatering feast by the talented Chef Peter Wedgwood, and music that will keep your boots tapping all night from YYT.

So dust off those boots, tip your cowboy hats, and get ready for a night of fun, friendship, and purpose. Together, we’re keeping the spirit of Rainbow Riders strong and ensuring even more people experience the life-changing power of horses.
